# SataLight And SataLite End User License Agreement

Effective date: 2026-08-10

This agreement applies to lawfully obtained SataLight and SataLite binary
software and bundled documentation (the "Software"). Installing or using the
Software means that you accept this agreement.

## License Grant

Catbunny grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and
use the Software on computers that you own or control for personal or
commercial audio production. You retain all rights in audio that you create
with the Software.

You may keep reasonable backup copies. You may not redistribute, rent, lease,
sublicense, sell, publish, or make the Software available as a standalone
product. You may not remove product identity or legal notices. Reverse
engineering is prohibited except to the limited extent that applicable law
expressly permits it despite this restriction.

## Third-Party Components

Bundled third-party components are licensed under their respective terms in
`THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md`. Those terms control if they conflict with this
agreement for a third-party component.

## Updates And Termination

Updates may replace earlier versions and may require a supported operating
system or host. This license terminates if you materially breach it. On
termination, stop using and remove the Software, excluding project audio and
presets that you authored.

## Disclaimer And Liability

The Software is provided "as is" without warranties, to the maximum extent
permitted by law. Catbunny is not liable for indirect, incidental, special,
consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the Software. Some
jurisdictions do not permit every exclusion, so mandatory local rights remain
unaffected.

## General

This agreement does not transfer ownership of the Software or its product
identity. If one provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues in
effect. No waiver is effective unless written by the copyright holder.
